Minutes of March 19^th Meeting

Old business: No old business discussion was required.

New Business:

Clint reported that he had sent the club charter off for renewal.

Woody provided badges that are to be used to display our AMA Membership cards and will be required to be worn when flying. If you were not at the meeting see Clint to pick up your badge.

Woody provided two copies of the standard AMA Safety Rules and Regulations that are to be posted at the flying field. This posting is a standard posting requirement by AMA. Clint will get these posted.

Clint passed out the official rules for combat flying.

Gene Hetherington is looking into getting a guest speaker for our April meeting.

Clint reviewed the current situation with the Town Council regarding the upcoming decision if we will be able to continue to fly at the field. Mr. Charles Bopp continues to try and get us kicked off the field. A decision by Town Council is to be forthcoming in early April. We need to make sure we follow flying rules to the letter so that we do not provide Mr. Bopp with any ammunition that could be used against us. Clint is doing an excellent job working with Town Council to present our case.
