Annoucements: Burlington Swap Meet, January 26, 2008
Old Business: Steve Albert and Ron Fuller (Steve is apparent instigator!!) has been bitten by the combat bug. They are actively building models for the .25 - .30 size, wingspan of 48in. They have ordered materials for building several models. If anyone is interested in pursuing the option, RC Universe is a great source of information for buying prebuilt models, and the AMA classification and rules pertaining to this segment of the model industry. Steve will welcome any questions that our members may have.
New Business:
A
motion was made and seconded to keep the same officers that we have now. All officers were present and agreed to
continue. However, if any member
is interested in running for an office, please contact Randy Elliot or Steve
Albert prior to our next meeting (probably in January) so that it can be put on
the agenda and brought up before the membership.
Will everyone keep an eye
out for an affordable riding mower for the Pulaski Field. There is a trailer available for transporting
a mower, but we need to be looking out for a mower! Contact Randy, Steve, or Larry if a deal is
found, so some discussion can be had.
Next Meeting:
No
meeting will be held in December. The next meeting will probably be on
January 17, 2008. Watch out for an email
from Randy to confirm this.
